Have you ever been in a situation where you are asked to say or do something and immediately you feel deep down in your guts that you don’t feel right doing it? You find you become really uncomfortable. It might be the way you deal with the people around you, the way you run your business or what you are required to do at your place of work.
We have all been there at one point in our lives…
The one true answer to this feeling can be linked to what is actually important to us which forms what is referred to as our Core Values.
Our take on what value is
Your values are what you find important in life. Values guide your goals, determine what you stand for, and drive your choices in life. They help you find your true purpose and can be used as a compass to guide you through difficult decisions. Discovering your true value will lead to a life of fulfillment and joy.
Now lets us share with you why you need to Understand your Values?
We have learnt that discovering your true value is an essential step to living a life that you will find fulfilling and meaningful. You’ll never be able to fully understand your purpose in life if you don’t understand what your true core values are. To lead a fulfilling life that is full of joy you need to understand what is important to you. Think of your values as a moral compass that can help you make difficult decisions. Finding your principles in decisions making can function as a road map to lead you on a purposeful path in life.

‘Our dream in life as a couple is to be able to create a platform where we help people discover and fulfill their dreams, not conform to the status quo, and take their destinies in their own hands’.
This dream is in conformity with two of our core values which are 1. Providing Values and 2. Being an Inspiration to others.
When we are able to do these two, we find enormous fulfilment and it fills us with joy.
…And on the contrary
Not knowing what your goals are can lead to feeling unfulfilled. When the life you lead is inconsistent with your values you’ll be unhappy and find yourself wanting more out of life. You won’t be able to spend your time on activities that align with your true purpose. Prioritizing your values in decisions making will help you make choices that lead to clarity and peace rather than choices that lead to unhappiness and imbalance.
Connecting your values to your Dreams
Knowing what your true values are will allow you to see your dreams with more clarity. Use your values to shape your dreams and get a better sense of what it is that you want out of life. Look to your values in decisions making when imaging your dreams and life goals.

Take a moment right now and make a list of what your values are. Dig deep inside of you or you can even ask your friends and family what they think your values are. Our behaviour can also reveal what our values are. Our values stem from our subconscious.
Just to give you the push you need, here are a few examples;
Honesty, Integrity, Love, adding value to others, Growth and development, freedom, Respect Relationships etc.
The things you find important and the ideas you stand for can reveal your dreams and define your cause in life. Your dreams should be the overarching goals that you want to ultimately achieve in your lifetime, so it’s important that they give you feelings of joy and peace. If you ever find yourself working towards goals that leave you discontent, ask yourself if they align with your true core values.
