Hiya! I’m Mike  and my wife is Tonia. We live in the beautiful and historic town of Aylesbury with our two lovely daughters here in the Uk. We’ve been married now for 9 years. 

We relocated to the UK in 2014 from Spain. Such a beautiful country by the way. We were both working in Spain and making a living but considering the situation and the aftermath of the financial crisis and the impact it had on the economy of the country, we knew we had to reevaluate our situation. We both knew that we needed to make some tough decisions in order to push our careers forward. Also we’ve just had our first daughter Shannon and we wanted to be able to give her the best. 

What did we do

The first thing we did was to book a short holiday to London with the aim of achieving two things; 1. See what life will look like living here and 2. run a short trial of sending our cvs out to see how quickly the country wants us to relocate. And boom! within a space of one week, I got a job offer. That was like a good omen for us. I took the opportunity straight away and my dear Tonia had to return back to Spain alone ah ah. By January 2014, Tonia and Shannon were with me and we were fully relocated!

Life in the UK

Moving here has afforded us great opportunities to build a career for ourselves.  I was able to progress in my career as a Business Analyst here in the UK earning reasonable well and my wife has been able to build a career in finance. Our beautiful daughter Jayden was born in 2015. We were loving life!

We absolutely love the UK, never mind the weather but climbing up in our various careers came with a price. We both work long hours, by the time we get home after the day’s job we would be so exhaust that all we wanted to do was have dinner and off to bed. We were also  always looking for child minders for the girls or seeking help from friends.. We absolutely love travelling but this too was becoming more and more difficult because of the financial aspect and being able to book holidays at the same time as when the girls are on holiday from our places of work.

Hey something had to be done again!

We knew we had to do something about our situation again. We now have two kids, and we had just bought a house. We needed more income stream that will give us that financial self sufficiency that we have always been craving for while at the same time seeking to have more time to spend with our children. 

…And the brainstorming begins!

After doing a lot of research on how to generate income, we came across by accident a 5 step framework on Affiliate Marketing and online business, where the focus is on self discovery and development, and leveraging a system that has been tried, tested and proven to be true with tangible results. And also with the aim of attaining Time, Financial and Geographic freedom. This platform is so passionate about teaching us how to get the financial self sufficiency we were searching for and how we will be able to escape the 9 to 5 rat race in due season that we couldn’t help but give it a trial even though with a pinch of salt. We were at first sceptical but after going through the 5 step framework and the constant help and encouragement from the readily available mentors, we got convinced and took the decision to learn more about this online affiliate marketing.

And was that a wise decision?

That was one of the best decisions we have ever made. Going through the training process step by step and we are still on it, we not only learnt about marketing but more about discovering ourselves, what our true values are, what we truly love doing, how to earn money doing it and how to give back and add value to others in the process. These and also how we can build an online business for ourselves with little or no prior knowledge or experience. Amazing how our lives and mindsets have changed for the better. And how we can confidently refer to ourselves as Digital Entrepreneurs! So YES! it was a wise decision!!!

So how is it going?

We are still in the process, and evolving but while learning, we are able to start earning. We are still working our day jobs but  it is looking more and more likely that going full time as digital entrepreneurs working from home is fastly becoming a reality. We will definitely shout it out loud from the mountain top very soon. Watch this space!

Moving Forward…

Right now we are students and affiliate marketer with the Six Figure Mentors working from home in our spare time or anywhere for that matter. As long as we have our phones, laptop or tablet with internet connection we are good to go. Family life has improved tremendously and  we are beginning to add value to the lives of others by sharing our experience and inviting others to dare to take same steps to gaining financial self sufficiency like us.

We are at a place right now that we can confidently say that when you give value to others, you get value back. The dream is becoming a reality…..
